Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is the supreme consultative and oversight body which evaluates the Company's performance and navigates its course forward towards strategic and financial development, higher professional standards and business supremacy.
Mr. Nazariyan is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alfa Capital Holdings (Cyprus) Limited. Pavel is also Secretary of the Board and Managing Director of ABH Holdings S.A., a member of the Board of ABH Financial Limited, Alfa Asset Management (Europe) S.A. and Alfa Capital (Russia).
Between 1999 and 2002, he served as CFO of Alfa Bank Holdings Ltd, the ultimate holding company of Alfa Banking Group.
Pavel received his Master of Engineering from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University and Master of Economics with Honours from the Moscow International Marketing and Management Academy. He is a graduate of Senior Executive and Mergers & Acquisitions executive programs at London Business School. He also completed Corporate Restructuring, Financial Instruments & Markets, and Valuation programs at Harvard Business School, and graduated from the Strategic Management in Banking and Leading from the Chair executive programs at INSEAD.
Mr. Konstantinos Hadjisavvas joined the company in 2008, when he held the positions of Risk Manager, followed by Head of Risk and Compliance and subsequently to his present position as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He is a member of the Investment Committee of Alfa Capital Holdings (Cyprus) Limited and was Director in other group companies, including deputy CEO of Alfa Capital Markets.
Mr. Hadjisavvas is of a Cypriot national and has an MBA and Masters of Science in Accounting from Suffolk University, Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland, USA.
Mr. Artemenko received his Master of Physics from the National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI). He is also a graduate of Institute of Business and Economics, Academy of National Economy, Moscow, and holds MBA in Finance. Between 1994 and 1999, he served as Fixed Income and International FX trader of Rosbank, Moscow. He joined AlfaGroup in July, 1999 and until 2014 held the position of Director for Securities Financing.
Today he works as COO of Investment Banking, at Alfa-Bank, Moscow.
Mr. Constantinou graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 1987 obtaining a BSc in Economics with First Class Honors. He then worked with KPMG London where he specialised in banking and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ACA). He returned to Cyprus in 1992 and joined the Bank of Cyprus specialising in managing companies with financial and management problems. He later became head of the International Business Unit for the Bank of Cyprus. Since then, he has setup the Private Banking Unit and Institutional Clients Unit for a Cyprus listed investment firm and the Cyprus operations of an EU commercial bank. Today he has his own advisory and fund management business, advising clients in a diversified industry portfolio and is a board member of listed and privately-owned companies.
Born in Ukraine in 1977, Andriy is currently resident of Cyprus. Mr. Glavatskyy was a Member of the Investment Committee of Alfa Capital Holdings (Cyprus) Limited. He joined Alfa Group in 2000 and since then has held managing positions in various Group subdivisions. Before joining Alfa Group, Mr. Glavatskyy worked in the banking industry in Kiev where he was involved in the trading with securities business. He is a graduate of The National State University of Economics.
Phidias Pilides is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Cyprus for a 10-year period to December 2011. Phidias Pilides has served as Chairman of the University of Cyprus, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus, the Cyprus-Russia Business Association and the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency. He was recently appointed by the Council of Ministers as a member of the Public Oversight Board for the Auditing Profession and the Board of Gaming and Casino Oversight Authority. The President of the Republic has appointed him to head the Technical Committee in negotiations for a settlement of the Cyprus political conflict and for Economic and Entrepreneurial matters. Phidias was re-elected in November 2014, as President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce & Industry, for a second three-year term.
Mr. Roache is the head of the firm’s London Branch, Alfa Capital Markets, which conducts business in the UK. Simon also holds the position of Group Compliance Director, with responsibility for internal compliance, bank relationships and a wide range of operational matters at LetterOne. The latter is an investment firm owned by the same shareholders as Alfa Capital Holdings (Cyprus) Limited and was set up to manage their personal investments. Mr. Roache is a British citizen who has worked for Alfa Bank Group since 1997. Initially based in Moscow, Simon was Head of Direct Investments, before he subsequently headed the group’s London operations in 1999.
Before joining Alfa Group, Mr. Roache worked for Fleming Investment Management in Russia (1993-1997), as Deputy Fund Manager in a private equity team. Prior to this, he worked in a private equity team with the Brooke Group in Moscow (1992-1993). Before moving to Russia, Mr. Roache worked in London for Baring Brothers and later Moscow Narodny Bank. Simon is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, where he studied Russian and German.
